Golden Hour at Ball’s Falls
Experience the Niagara Peninsula watershed at Golden Hour while helping protect it.
Set against one of Niagara’s most iconic natural landscapes, Golden Hour is a rare evening of music, nature, and impact.
Join us on July 24 at Ball’s Falls Conservation Area for live music by Great Lake Swimmers, locally inspired hospitality, and an evening rooted in place.
Come for the view. Stay for the cause. Every ticket supports watershed conservation.
This April, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Earth Month Fundraiser for 2026 focusing on filling the Niagara Peninsula watershed forests one tree at a time through the Trees for All program. This year, we are asking passionate community members to support tree planting by donating funds, committing to conservation all while keeping the Niagara Peninsula watershed green for generations to come.

In March, during engagements at the First Ontario Performing Arts Centre, NPCA CAO Leilani Lee-Yates and NPCF Chair Brett Harrington presented David Suzuki with a Comfort Maple pen. Symbolic of Niagara’s natural heritage and the significance of stewardship, the limited-edition gold-tone pen celebrates Dr. Suzuki’s 90th birthday and his decades of environmental activism.

A Tribute to Heritage and Stewardship
In 2025, we celebrated the contributions of Pelham woodturner Marv Ens, marking 10 years of beautifully crafted pens from wood pruned in the care of the iconic Comfort Maple.

Think Local, Act Local
At an event in St. Catharines in March 2026, Dr. David Suzuki, renowned scientist and environmental activist, said the time has come for us to adapt to climate change… to work together within our communities … to Think Local, Act Local.
NPCF proudly supports programs to preserve wetlands, forests, and wildlife habitat, and to help connect people to nature so they too are inspired to protect it.
